How to unlock all Disney Speedstorm characters? That question will be answered in this guide that shows you how and who to unlock to get the full roster of 18 characters in the Switch, PS4, PS5, PC, Xbox Series X & Xbox One arcade racing game.

Here’s how to easily unlock the starter Disney Speedstorm characters fast: Play through the Starter Circuit story mode and with every of the six Chapters you complete, a new playable character will be unlocked.

How To Unlock Characters In Disney Speedstorm

The unlock requirements to get all 18 characters in Disney Speedstorm:

• Already unlocked characters are: Mickey Mouse for everyone and depending on your Early Access DLC Pack purchase you also get Donald Duck, Mulan, Captain Jack Sparrow & Hercules right away.
• To unlock Donald Duck: Complete Chapter 2 of “Starter Circuit” Mode.
• To unlock Goofy: Complete Chapter 3 of “Starter Circuit” Mode.
• To unlock Mulan: Complete Chapter 4 of “Starter Circuit” Mode.
• To unlock Hercules: Complete Chapter 5 of “Starter Circuit” Mode.
• To unlock Captain Jack Sparrow: Complete Chapter 6 of “Starter Circuit” Mode.

To unlock the remaining 12 characters there are two methods…

Unlock Method #1: By racing races in the different modes, you collect special Racer Shards that are used to both unlock new Racer and star up the Racer’s level.

Unlock Method #2: Buy these three Early Access DLC packs.

• Deluxe Founder’s Pack Includes: Early Access to the game, 3 Racers unlocked (Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck & Mulan), 1 additional racer unlock of players’ choice (Baloo, Belle, The Beast, Elizabeth Swann, Mowgli or Li Shang), 4,000 Tokens, 2 Golden Pass Credits, 3 exclusive racing suits and livery and exclusive Founder’s Motto and Avatar.
• Ultimate Founder’s Pack Includes: early access to the game, 5 Racers unlocked (Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Mulan, Captain Jack Sparrow & Hercules), additional racer unlock of players’ choice (Baloo, Belle, The Beast, Elizabeth Swann, Mowgli or Li Shang), 12,000 Tokens, 3 Golden Pass Credits, 6 exclusive racing suits and livery and exclusive Founder’s Motto and Avatar and kart parts for Donald Duck.

Unlock Method #3: In addition, as part of the Golden Pass (the season-based mission system also known as Battle Pass) players can decide to unlock (via in-game currencies) the premium tier of the Golden Pass that grants access to an extra layer of Seasonal rewards like racers, as well as liveries, suits, currencies, upgrade materials and players’ profile customization.

Future DLC Characters?: Disney will no doubt add many DLC characters in the future! Here’s what they said about it: “During Early Access new themed Seasons will be added to the game each 6-8 weeks and they will bring new Disney and Pixar content like racers, unique tracks and challenges.”
