How to unlock additional classic Rotom Cases: Get In-Game Rotom Phone Cases with Play Records from past Pokémon games!

If you have play records (AKA: save files) from the Pokémon Legends: Arceus, Pokémon Brilliant Diamond, Pokémon Shining Pearl, Pokémon Sword, Pokémon Shield, Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu!, or Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee! games on the same Nintendo Switch system you’re playing this game on, then you will be able to receive a Rotom Phone case in Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet with a design inspired by the game the play records are from. Swap out your Rotom Phone case to one that suits your style as you set out to explore the Paldea region!

NOTES: You can receive these Rotom Phone cases by talking to the woman in front of the stairs leading up to Mesagoza’s central plaza.?

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet How To Unlock Your Mount’s Surf, Dash & Glide Abilities

Each of the two new Pokemon games have their own ride-able mount Pokemon. Koraidon is a Legendary Pokémon you can meet in Pokémon Scarlet, and Miraidon is a Legendary Pokémon you can meet in Pokémon Violet.

How to get the Surf move in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet: After you defeat Bombirdier in the boss fight that’s part of “The Search for the Open Sky Titan” map mission in West Province (Area One), you’ll unlock the swimming Surf ability for your mount to travel across water in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet.

How to Surf: Your mount can now move across bodies of water, opening up new ways to get around. If you press the B button on your controller while you’re on the water, your mount can even jump.

How to get the Dash move in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet: After you defeat Klawf in the boss fight that’s part of “The Search for the Stony Cliff Titan” map mission in South Province (Area Three), you’ll unlock the high-speed Dash ability for your mount to drive faster on land in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet.

How to Dash: Now you can have your mount Dash ahead by pressing the Left Stick on your controller. But watch out for trees when dashing at high speeds! If you strike a tree while dashing, Pokemon lurking up among the branches will fall down — allowing you to battle them.

How to get the Glide move in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet: After you defeat Iron Treads in the boss fight that’s part of “The Search for the Quaking Earth Titan” map mission in Asado Desert, you’ll unlock the aerial Glide ability for your mount to fly in the air in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet.

How to Glide: Press the B button on your controller when you’re in the air, and your mount will now glide for you. If you press the B button once more, you’ll stop gliding and immediately start falling.

How to get the Climb move in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet: After you defeat the boss fight that’s part of “The Search for the False Dragon Titan” map mission, you’ll unlock the rock Climb ability for your mount to climb up surfaces in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet.

How to get the High Jump move in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet: After you defeat the boss fight that’s part of “The Search for the Lurking Steel Titan” map mission, you’ll unlock the High Jump ability for your mount to jump higher into the air in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet.

How to High Jump: Hold down the B button on your controller to base jump higher. In combination with Sprint, this will allow you to cross bigger distances faster.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Double Running Speed Cheat

Use Cheat to let you run 2x faster in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet: While your Switch system is in handheld mode with the joycons connected, also connect a second controller (like the Switch Pro wireless controller), and then move both left analogue sticks in the same direction at an angle.

To clarify, it’s not straight ahead, but starting to run at an angle slightly to the left or right, as long as both controllers are aimed at the same direction for you to run to. This will result in your character running at double the normal run speed!!
