How to farm more Runes in Elden Ring?

In Elden Ring you should first get the Golden Scarab talisman by beating the boss at the end of the Abandoned Cave (at the East tip of the map), to increase the amount of Runes obtained from defeating enemies by 20%. Next, you get another 30% more Runes when you use the Gold Pickled Fowl Foot during your Rune farming or boss fights. Now go to Mohgwyn Palace to start farming 2.4 million Runes per hour!

How to get to Mohgwyn Palace to start farming:

  • Progress through the story until Mountaintops region.
  • Collect both Haligtree medallion parts.
  • Use medallion at Grand Lift of Rold.
  • Follow the tunnels up to the surface.
  • Solve the barrier puzzle in Ordina town.
  • Go to a new region and keep proceeding.
  • Go to the Inner Consecrated Snowfield and defeat the Sanguine Noble invader to obtain the Bloody Finger.
  • Near there you can find a portal to Fast Travel to another location, a cave which leads you to Mohgwyn Palace.
  • At Mohgwyn Palace walk down to the site of grace and start defeating enemies to farm Runes.
