Triangle Strategy’s Scales of Conviction

Find out how to influence which Allies join your Party:

Your decisions make the difference: Strategically command a group of warriors after being entangled in a surging conflict between three nations. Key choices you make will influence the story and outcome of this grand conflict.

Challenge convictions: Each decision you make will bolster one of three convictions — Utility, Morality, or Liberty — which together make up Serenoa’s worldview and influence who will join you and lend their talents to your army. You can play through the game multiple times to see how other choices impact the adventure.

Tip the Scales of Conviction: When faced with truly momentous decisions, multiple characters will weigh in by casting their votes on the Scales of Conviction. Persuade them before their vote is cast to help forge your own path ahead.

How to get Rudolph or Corentin to join your Party: Early on, your allies will vote on whether your party should travel to chilly Aesfrost or arid Hyzante. And what choice the scales tip toward is where you’ll go next, ultimately leading to different party members joining you.

  1. If you choose Aesfrost, your party will take part in stopping an illegal salt trade in a snowy environment with great potential for powerful elemental attacks. Rudolph, a hunter and former salt smuggler, will join you in battle.
  2. If you choose Hyzante, your party will contend with dangerous magic wielders in a large, multi-tiered desert. Corentin, a cryomancer and researcher at the Ministry of Medicine, will join forces with you.

Tip: Spy Anna gets to act twice every turn. This means that using her in pincer attacks, where an ally jumps in to attach as well, the ally also gets to attach twice like Anna! Handy to get 4 attacks per turn!
