Beginner’s Guide

A detailed beginner’s guide and first impressions for Elden Ring with handy tips and tricks to get you started on your deadly adventure.

Elden Ring – Beginner’s Guide

Tip: As you begin your adventure in Elden Ring, you’ll be offered the choice between several Starting Gifts (similar to the Burial Gifts in Dark Souls 3). If you select the Key Starting Gift, you can use it early on in the game on the goblin statues (in an underground dungeon where you can “Rest at the site of grace” to discover Lost Grace) to open up the blue/green-ish fog wall/door to a new area.
