Well, It Takes Two won GOTY, I still need to finish playing it in co-op as it’s free with Xbox Game Pass. It should be said that generally the people watching mostly felt the vote should’ve gone to Resident Evil 8: Village or if you’re a Nintendo fan to Metroid Dread. My Player’s Voice vote went to Halo Infinite. How about you?

Amazing how many world premieres were included in the 3-hours-long show. It’s been more exciting to watch then the full week of E3 2021 reveals, but then again 2021 has been a little bit of a quiet year.
Exciting surprise announcements were:
- King of Fighters XV debut trailer shown. Beta coming soon. February 17, 2022 release date.
- The Texas Chainsaw Massacre multiplayer horror game based on the movie announced.
- Homeworld 3 debut trailer shown. Coming Q4 2022 to PC.
- The Expanse: A Telltale Game debut trailer shown. Developer Telltale Games is back! All aboard The Artemis spaceship.
- Babylon’s Fall trailer. Coming March 3, 2022 from Platinum Games and Square Enix.
- Chivalry II: House Galencourt Update debut trailer shown. Introduces Two Maps, Arena Mode & Arrow Cam.
- Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak expansion debut trailer shown. Coming Summer 2022 with 3 new amiibo.
- Thirsty Suitors debut trailer shown. Indian cooking, fighting, dancing game? Coming soon.

- Star Wars: Eclipse debut trailer by Lucasfilm Games. Quantic Dream developing. Set in High-republic Era.
- Lost Ark new trailer shown it’s free to play from February 11, 2022 by Amazon Games.
- Wonder Woman video game world premiere trailer shown. Monolith developing for DC.
- Alan Wake II debut trailer shown, after fans have been waiting 10 years for a sequel. Coming in 2023 to Xbox Series X|S, PS5 (and PC I think). Survival-horror.
- Sonic the Hedgehog 2 Movie debut trailer shown. Ben Shwarz (Sonic) and Jim Carrey (Dr. Robotnic) hilariously introduce it. Loved the first movie! Release on April 8, 2022.
- Horizon II: Forbidden West gets a new gameplay trailer. “Rise above our ruin”.
- Final Fantasy VII Remake: Intergrade PC trailer shown! Coming December 16, 2021. No Part 2 announcement sadly.
- Destiny 2: The Witch Queen debut trailer shown, all footage is from the first mission. Release date is February 22, 2022. Celebrating Bungie’s 30th Anniversary. “Take back the light”.
- Slitterhead world premiere trailer. By Bokeh games studio. Silent Hill’s Keiichiro Toyama as creative director. Horror multiplayer?
- Nightingale debut trailer by Infexion Games. Rhealmwalkers are “Welcome to the lands of Fae”. Survival-crafting game, solo and cooperatively. Coming to PC early access in 2022.
- The Lord of the Rings: Gollum: The Untold Story commercial shows Gollum stalking Orcs. New game?
- Somerville indie game debut trailer by Jumpship. Post-apocalyptic. 2.5D? Looks cool.
- Cuphead: D.L.C. Island debut animation trailer shown. Includes gameplay too. The animation looks stunning! So wonderful. Release date is June 30, 2022.
- Sonic: Frontiers world premiere trailer. Sega’s Sonic Team making a new 3D action platformer Sonic the Hedgehog title! Coming Holiday 2022.
- Hideo Kojima introduces Guillermo del Toro’s next movie, who in turn hints at a new Silent Hill game!?!? What?
