Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl Money Cheats

Here’s an easy way to get a lot of money very fast in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl. Using this money cheat you’ll be able to get tons of cash, as explained below…

Money Cheat Location: How to get more money? You need to gain two items to farm money. There’s a money trick hidden in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl that lets you gain 16,000-26,000 of cash per battle and 200,000-300,000 per hour! In fact, you can further increase these gains by a factor two if you do this money trick in the post-game after completing the main storyline.

Money Cheat Steps:

Time needed: 1 hour.

What is the best way to farm money in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl?

  1. Money Farming Setup 1: Vs. Seeker Item

You’ll need two items to get setup to start farming money. Defeat the second gym leader to get the second badge. Afterwards rescue the bike owner to get a blue Bike as a reward. The bike will allow you to get around faster. Continue South until you encounter your buddy Dawn, she will give you the Vs. Seeker item you need. Vs. Seeker is a device that indicates Trainers who want to battle and its battery charges while you walk. Note: Don’t forget to register this new item to one of your four + button shortcuts like you would the fishing rod and bike.

  2. Money Farming Setup 2: Money Charm Item

Now let’s get the second item you need to get setup to begin farming money. Go to Hearthome City park in the top-left corner of the map, once there visit the two rock buildings in the top-right section and go inside the left building’s entrance to pick up the Amulet Coin from the ground. Now exit the park and bring up your Pokemon menu, in the Other Items Pocket tab select the Amulet Coin, then choose “Give to a Pokemon”. Equip the Amulet Coin to your battle party’s first/top member. The Amulet Coin is an item that’s to be held by a Pokemon, as it doubles any prize money received if the holding Pokemon joins a battle.

  3. Start Money Farming

Leave Hearthome City through the South exit and keep going south until you encounter the two old people with hats on (they are standing left of the policeman). Battle them both. Each of the duo’s battle rewards you 4,000 money, which you double to 8,000 money per battle by having the Money Charm item equipped. With the Vs. Seeker item you’re going to be able to rematch them over and over again. This is possible, because you can charge up the Vs. Seeker by walking around in circles or riding around with your blue Bike for 100 steps (steps are shown on your watch). Now you’re money farming at a rate of 200,000 per hour! Note that the maximum amount of money you can hold is 999,999.

  4. More Money Farming

Further on in the game on Route 210, located by the waterfall, you’ll find a green-haired duo running in a circle. Repeat Step 3 against this Double Team Zac and Jen to get 26,000 money per battle. Now you’re money farming at a rate of 300,000 per hour!
