On the results screen attack these rank/score numbers by repeatedly jumping and dashing through the numbers to eventually breaking them, which results in the game giving you gold rings and at least one extra life at the end of each level.

How to unlock Super Sonic in Sonic Colors Ultimate: First, collect all 180 Red Rings from each of the 36 main acts, which in turn will unlock all of the second and third Sonic Simulator acts. Second, clear all 21 of these Sonic Simulator stages at least once (can be done in Single Player). Third, once this is done the Options Satellite on the Main Screen will glow and give you the option to use Super Sonic.
In Super Sonic mode, you collect 50 Gold Rings and activate abilities like the Wisp abilities. Special wisp abilities will be disabled, and the stage design will change depending on this. Note: Super Sonic cannot be used in Challenge Mode.
