How to farm Psitanium in Psychonauts 2? The best Psychonauts 2 Psitanium farm method. You can see where to farm Psitanium in Psychonauts 2 following this short guide.

  • Step 1: Buy the Mental Tax Pin (Rank 40 required) from Otto’s in-game “Shop” vending machine.
  • Step 2: Find any long mental chain and travel through there and back (without touching the floor) a few times over. For example, the longest mental chain loop is in “Collective Unconsciousness” (from the middle to the end of the level). — Ride the mental chain until you reach Psitanium maximum capacity, at which point you can visit the Otto-Matic to find wallet upgrades that increase your Psitanium capacity (buy all wallet upgrades from the Shop’s PSI Pouches section). If you get 4991-4999 Psitanium, you have to loot a chunk from any spot (just look for the purple orbs).

* Tip: Requires rank 40 to unlock Mental Tax pin in the vending machine.
** Note: Psitanium income is around 320-380 per minute depends on mental chain length.
*** Warning: Do NOT buy the Psimultanium Pin since it doesn’t affect the Mental Tax Pin.
