According to a newly discovered MS Store listing, Hot Wheels Unleashed will be racing onto Xbox One and Xbox Series S|X in September. The racer will let you “collect the best vehicles in the Hot Wheels universe, build spectacular tracks and dive into breathtaking races.”
This store page is the first we’ve heard of the game, which is developed by Milestone and slated for release on September 29th. The listing promises both local and online multiplayer, boasting that you’ll be able to “race side by side with your friends in split screen mode for 2 players or face up to 12 opponents in online challenges.” It also mentions a livery editor which sounds like fun, alludes to a collection mechanic, and even reveals a course editor with online sharing.
