Embracer Group Acquires Mobile Game Maker Easybrain for $640 Million

Embracer Group has entered into a merger with the Easybrain in a transaction set to close in approximately two months, the company announced.

Easybrain will become the eighth operating group of Embracer Group, and Easybrain senior management Peter Skoromnyi, Matvey Timoshenko, and Oleg Grushevich will become the third largest shareholder in Embracer Group.

Easybrain is a leading mobile game developer with a core focus on advertising-based puzzle and logic games. Its titles have more than 750 million installs to date and 12 million daily active users across 15 live games.

Easybrain CEO and co-founder Oleg Grushevich added, “We are delighted that Easybrain merges with Embracer.
