Spelunky 2 Unlockable Characters

Here’s how to unlock all characters in Spelunky 2.

Tip: How to get into the Anhk room? During the Olmec fight let him fall into the lava at the very bottom, jump onto his head and enter the lava rooms, at the top of the second area is the Ankh.

Spelunky 2 Tips and Tricks

Here are some handy tips and tricks to get you started in Spelunky 2.

Tips & Tricks Basics:

• Always carry a rock/stick/dead body for throwing at traps when you need to progress through them.
• Those vases with a ghost face on them are very valuable. When you find it, carry it to the exit and smash it for a 5k diamond. Once you do smash it, a giant ghost will appear from off screen closest to whichever border of the screen you’re near. If you avoid the ghost for awhile, it will split into 2 smaller ghosts. Although it’s unclear if they split into 3 if you avoid those 2.
• If you see a wooden crate, smash it. It’s one of the most valuable treasures you can find as it sometimes will contain jetpacks, shotguns, etc. It contains anything which could be extremely valuable.
• DO NOT smash vases when you come upon them. Pick them up and throw them at a wall or enemy. These vases usually contain enemies.
• When you see that sacrifice altar covered in blood, enemies don’t need to be dead to be sacrificed. Just whip them and carry them here while stunned and drop them on the altar. You need 3 sacrifices to get a reward. There should not be any negative consequences for doing this.
• Another sacrifice altar tip, if you place your dog on it, it will reward you immediately. You don’t need more sacrifices. Also if you bomb or somehow destroy the altar, many difficult enemies will spawn.
• In world 1-2, keep lookout for a key. If you find it, you’ll find a cave in the area with a locked treasure chest. This unlocks an item that acts like spectacles and will show the locations of gems and items.
