Multiplayer Easter Egg

Microsoft Flight Simulator has multiplayer! You can group up to fly with other players by going in the game and selecting Add Friend, and then type your friend’s Xbox Gamer Tag (username). Once you’re all friends, one of you must Create A Group and send invitations to the other friends to join. Once you’re all in the group, you’ll be able to check the map to see where everyone is and then spawn into the location where the other friend is flying and meet up in the air.

How good is multiplayer in Microsoft Flight Simulator? In this video, a player is joined by some friends to test out group flying around Canada and New Zealand with a variety of planes to see how well it performs!

Area 51 Easter Egg

There’s something very special to be found in fight simulator 2020. Whether you are flying around the realistic recreations of New York, San Francisco, or even Florence, Italy… The sim offers an opportunity to experience places of the world we may rarely, or perhaps never, get the chance to see in person. And then there’s places like Area 51. Crop circles? UFO’s? Maybe you’ll be able to find an alien there yourself?

Vertical Take-Off Easter Egg

Does Microsoft Flight Simulator accurately model wind speed and direction when calculating lift generated? Do you know the difference between airspeed and ground speed and why it matters? This video explains how to do a vertical take-off on runway 26 with the Cessna 152 plane!

Note: If you want to know how to fly there yourself, we suggest using the GPS coordinates trick detailed in our Achievements Guide.
