The best armor* in Ghost of Tsushima is the Ghost Armor. You can get the Ghost Armor Set by starting the “From the Darkness” main quest, after completing “The Fate of Tsushima” mission, in “Act 2: Retake Castle Shimura” of the game. This is done automatically as part of normal story progression. Jin receives the Ghost Armor as a gift from Taka to enhance the tactics of the Ghost, it’s a good friend’s final creation.

When the Ghost Armour gets equipped and fully upgraded, it gives the player these perks:
- Reduces enemy detection speed by 40%.
- Reduces the number of kills needed to enter the Ghost Stance by 2.
- Kills have a 30% chance to Terrify a nearby enemy.
- New upgrades can be obtained by visiting an Armourer.
- Fully upgrading the Ghost Armour will further unlock elements like a new cape.

How to get the Ghost Armor’s white or red color choice:
Wear the Ghost Armor during “The Tale of Lord Shimura” final main mission in the storyline. Next, if you go for the “Kill Him Ending” to honor his wish for death, your reward will be the White Ghost Armor. But if you go for the “Spare Him Ending” to let him live and walk away, your reward will be the Red Ghost Armor.
