How to buy the Pokemon Sword and Shield DLC Part 1: Isle of Armor?

Part 1: Isle of Armor and Part 2: The Crown Tundra DLCs are part of the Pokemon Sword or Pokemon Shield Expansion Pass. You can only buy it from the Nintendo Switch eShop directly or indirectly with an in-store Download Code.

Note that you’ll need to have the latest version of Pokemon Sword or Pokemon Shield installed, and that you buy the Expansion Pass that matches the version of the game you own. You will be unable to play the additional content if you get the wrong version of the Expansion Pass, so be careful!

How to access the Pokemon Sword and Shield: Isle of Armor area?

You can get to the Isle of Armor area after only a few hours of playing the main Pokemon Sword and Shield game, after you reach the Wild Area.

What are the new Pokemon in Pokemon Sword and Shield: Isle of Armor?

Over 100 returning species of Pokemon will become available in the Wild Area with the release of Isle of Armor.

New Legendary Pokemon are: Kubfu, Urshifu, Gigantamax Urshifu, Calyrex, Regieleki, Regidrago, Galarian Articuno, Galarian Zapdos, and Galarian Moltres. New Regional forms are: Galarian Slowpoke, and Galarian Slowbro.

New Gigantamax forms are: Gigantamax Venusaur, and Gigantamax Blastoise.

Many Pokemon that didn’t appear in Pokemon Sword and Shield are returning in the Isle of Armor, including: Kingdra, Larvesta, Volcarona, Magnemite, Magneton, Magnezone, Rockruff, Lycanroc (Midday Form, Midnight Form, Dusk Form), Dedenne, Zorua, Zoroark, Azurill, Marill, Azumarill, Happiny, Chansey, and Blissey.
