Square Enix has released “Inside Final Fantasy VII Remake Episode 1,” the first in a multi-part series featuring interviews with the key staff behind Final Fantasy VII Remake.

This first video serves as an introduction to the development of Final Fantasy VII Remake and features interviews with producer Yoshinori Kitase, director and concept designer Tetsuya Nomura, story and scenario writer Kazushige Nojima, co-director (game design and programming) Naoki Hamaguchi, and co-director (scenario design) Motomu Toriyama.

Over the course of each episode, the development staff will reveal “a treasure trove of behind the scenes information,” including the development of the story, characters, combat, action, music, and more.

Square Enix has also released new information and screenshots of Final Fantasy VII Remake highlighting Turks leader Tseng, Wall Market ruler Don Corneo, Barret’s abilities in battle, the Wall Market and Honey Bee Inn, the Leviathan summon, and more.
