Pokemon Sword and Shield TM Locations Guide

TM00 Mega Punch can be bought in Hammerlocke at the eastern Pokémon Center for 10,000 PokéDollars.

TM01 Mega Kick can be bought in Hammerlocke at the eastern Pokémon Center for 40,000 PokéDollars.

TM02 Pay Day can be found in Motostoke, west of the Budew Drop Inn. Toward the foreground there is a path you can take that leads to the lower side of the city. In this small containers section, you’ll find the TM on the ground in a Pokeball.

TM03 Fire Punch can be bought in Wyndon at the Pokémon Center outside of the Stadium for 50,000 PokéDollars.

TM04 Ice Punch can be bought in Wyndon at the Pokémon Center outside of the Stadium for 50,000 PokéDollars.

TM05 Thunder Punch can be bought in Wyndon at the Pokémon Center outside of the Stadium for 50,000 PokéDollars.

TM06 Fly can be found in Stow-on-Side. Once there, you must go inside the building to the left of the stairs leading to the Stadium. Go inside the building and talk to the man dressed for winter and he will give you the TM.

TM07 Pin Missile can be found on Route 4. It’s located at the northeast patch of grass, head to the east (right) side until you see the kid dressed as a Pikachu, to find the TM behind him.

TM08 Hyper Beam can be bought in Wyndon at the Pokémon Center outside of the Stadium for 50,000 PokéDollars.

TM09 Giga Impact can be bought in Wyndon at the Pokémon Center outside of the Stadium for 50,000 PokéDollars.

TM10 Magical Leaf will be obtained after defeating the Grass Gym in Turffield.

TM11 Solar Beam can be found east of Turffield town. However, it requires the bike upgrade (the float function) that allows you to cross over water. With the bike upgrade obtained, you must return to Turffield and head east out of the town until you reach a small bridge. Continue along the path past it to find a bank where you can enter the water. Follow it north until you reach a small piece of land containing TM11.

TM12 Solar Blade can be bought in Wyndon at the Pokémon Center outside of the Stadium for 50,000 PokéDollars.

TM13 Fire Spin can be bought in Hammerlocke at the western Pokémon Center for 10,000 PokéDollars.

TM14 Thunder Wave will be obtained after completing your first Rotom Rally in the Wild Area.

TM15 Dig can be found on Route 6. Go up the western ladder that leads to a campsite as well as the Fossil Restoration machine. TM15 is to the right of the camp.

TM16 Screech can be found in Circhester. Once you’re in Circhester, go inside the eastern branch of Hotel Ionia and take the elevator up. Go right and enter the first room. Talk to the hiker inside to receive TM16.

TM17 Light Screen can be bought in Motostoke at the western Pokémon Center for 10,000 PokéDollars.

TM18 Reflect can be bought in Motostoke at the western Pokémon Center for 10,000 PokéDollars.

TM19 Safeguard can be bought in Motostoke at the western Pokémon Center for 10,000 PokéDollars.

TM20 Self-Destruct can be bought at the Battle Tower in Wyndon for 100,000 PokéDollars. Get TM20 from the League Official seller on the right side.

TM21 Rest can be found in Ballonlea. Once you’re in Ballonlea, follow the path right of the road leading to the Stadium to find TM21 near a couple of tall mushrooms.

TM22 Rock Slide can be found on Route 9. However, it requires the bike upgrade (the float function) that allows you to cross over water. Use the float function of your bike to follow the southwestern edge of Route 9. Eventually, you’ll find a path tucked between rocks with a small sandy beach at the end where TM22 can be picked up.

TM23 Thief can be bought in Hammerlocke at the western Pokémon Center for 10,000 PokéDollars.

TM24 Snore can be found in the Glimwood Tangle. Before the double trainers battle, follow the left path all the way to the end to find TM24.

TM25 Protect can be bought in Motostoke at the western Pokémon Center for 10,000 PokéDollars.

TM26 Scary Face can be found in the Galar Mine. Follow the path there until the tracks curve right and there’s a trainer on the left. Beyond her is TM26 at the end of the path.

TM27 Icy Wind can be found differently depending on the version you’re playing. In Pokemon Sword, it’s found in the house to the north of the Pokémon Center. As you walk on a road towards a red-banner bakery, look for a couple of small snowmen on the right-side, then enter the house to the left of them with the red-haired couple inside (the man will give TM27 to you). — In Pokemon Shield, TM27 will be obtained after defeating the Circhester Gym leader Gordie.

TM28 Giga Drain can be bought at the Battle Tower in Wyndon for 100,000 PokéDollars. Get it from the League Official seller on the right side.

TM29 Charm can be found in Hammerlocke. Once you’re allowed to enter the Hammerlocke Vault, check the right side of the outer wall to find TM29.

TM30 Steel Wing can be found on Route 6. Follow the Route 6 path toward the Diglett statues until you spot a ladder leading down on the right. Continue to the south-east until you find TM30.

TM31 Attract can be found on Route 5, south of the Daycare. Go to the south-east corner of the pond area with a campsite to find TM31.

TM32 Sandstorm can be bought in Hammerlocke at the western Pokémon Center for 10,000 PokéDollars.

TM33 Rain Dance can be bought in Hammerlocke at the western Pokémon Center for 10,000 PokéDollars.

TM34 Sunny Day can be bought in Hammerlocke at the western Pokémon Center for 10,000 PokéDollars.

TM35 Hail can be bought in Hammerlocke at the western Pokémon Center for 10,000 PokéDollars.

TM36 Whirlpool will be obtained after defeating the Water Gym in Hulbury.

TM37 Beat Up can be found on Route 3. As you walk Route 3, at the grassy fork in the road, go south past the berry tree to find TM37.

TM38 Will-O-Wisp will be obtained after defeating the Fire Gym in Motostoke.

TM39 Facade can be found in the Motostoke Riverbank portion of the Wild Area, before the first bridge crossing. Stick close to the Motostoke side and you’ll find TM39 tucked away near a set of pipes.

TM40 Swift will be obtained from Hop in Wedgehurst. When the two of you are leaving the town of Wedgehurst for the first time.

TM41 Helping Hand can be bought in Motostoke at the western Pokémon Center for 10,000 PokéDollars.

TM42 Revenge is found differently depending on the version you’re playing. In Pokemon Sword, it will be obtained after defeating the Stow-on-Side Gym. — In Pokemon Shield, it’s found in Ballonlea. Head inside the house just before the path to the Stadium and talk to the old woman inside to receive TM41.

TM43 Brick Break can be found on Route 8 just before the tunnel. Head to the left behind the ruined brick to find TM43.

TM44 Imprison can be bought at the Battle Tower in Wyndon for 100,000 PokéDollars. Get it from the League Official seller on the right side.

TM45 Dive can be found on Route 9. Head to the southwest corner to find a beach with two swimmers next to umbrellas. Talk to the woman to receive TM45.

TM46 Weather Ball can be bought in Hammerlocke at the eastern Pokémon Center for 30,000 PokéDollars.

TM47 Fake Tears can be found in Circhester. Once there, go inside the eastern branch of Hotel Ionia and take the elevator up. Go right and enter the room at the end of the hall filled with Pikachu as well as (once again) the kid dressed as a Pikachu. Talk to the man next to the plant to receive TM47.

TM48 Rock Tomb is found differently depending on the version you’re playing. In Pokemon Sword, TM48 will be obtained after defeating the Circhester Gym leader Gordie. — In Pokemon Shield, it is found in the house to the north of the Pokémon Center. TM49 Sand Tomb can be found in Galar Mine No. 2. You’ll see a male trainer at a T-intersection. Go to the right to find TM49 at the dead end.

TM50 Bullet Seed can be bought in Hammerlocke at the western Pokémon Center for 10,000 PokéDollars.

TM51 Icicle Spear can be found in Circhester. Head to the Bath in the center of town to find it between the right set of pillars.

TM52 Bounce can be bought at the Battle Tower in Wyndon for 100,000 PokéDollars. Get it from the League Official seller on the right side.

TM53 Mud Shot can be found in Galar Mine No. 2. However, it requires the bike upgrade (the float function) that allows you to cross over water. Look for the path with a pond blocking the way forward. Use the water bike to cross the ponds and find TM53 at the end.

TM54 Rock Blast can be found in the Galar Mine. After entering the mine, take the first path that veers to the left and follow it until discovering the opening leading back outside. On the ledge you’ll find TM54.

TM55 Brine can be bought in Hammerlocke at the western Pokémon Center for 10,000 PokéDollars.

TM56 U-Turn can be found in the Glimwood Tangle. Go left past the older lady to follow a somewhat hidden path. Continue along it to the top route to obtain TM56.

TM57 Payback can be found behind Professor Magnolia’s house. Look for a path on the right side of the house, in order to get behind the house.

TM58 Assurance can be found on Route 7. Head east on Route 7, towards the bridge. TM58 is tucked in a corner just before this bridge and near the campsite.

TM59 Fling can be bought at the Battle Tower in Wyndon for 100,000 PokéDollars. Get it from the League Official seller on the right side.

TM60 Power Swap can be bought in Wyndon at the Pokémon Center outside of the Stadium for 30,000 PokéDollars.

TM61 Guard Swap can be bought in Wyndon at the Pokémon Center outside of the Stadium for 30,000 PokéDollars.

TM62 Speed Swap can be bought in Wyndon at the Pokémon Center outside of the Stadium for 30,000 PokéDollars.

TM63 Drain Punch can be bought in Wyndon at the Pokémon Center outside of the Stadium for 30,000 PokéDollars.

TM64 Avalanche can be found on Route 9. However, it requires the bike upgrade (the float function) that allows you to cross over water. On Route 9, after crossing the bridge south of Circhester, use your bike’s water function at the nearby bank and travel west. At the southern end, there’s another bank where TM64 awaits at the end.

TM65 Shadow Claw is found in the Lake of Outrage section of the Wild Area. However, it requires the bike upgrade (the float function) that allows you to cross over water. Go onto the water and head right immediately to find a small piece of land with TM65 tucked in the corner behind the tree.

TM66 Thunder Fang can be bought in Hammerlocke at the eastern Pokémon Center for 30,000 PokéDollars.

TM67 Ice Fang can be bought in Hammerlocke at the eastern Pokémon Center for 30,000 PokéDollars.

TM68 Fire Fang can be bought in Hammerlocke at the eastern Pokémon Center for 30,000 PokéDollars.

TM69 Psycho Cut can be found on the lake near Professor Magnolia’s house. However, it requires the bike upgrade (the float function) that allows you to cross over water. Use the bike to cross the lake to the north-west side and follow the path until you reach TM69 at the end.

TM70 Trick Room can be bought at the Battle Tower in Wyndon for 50,000 PokéDollars. Get it from the League Official seller on the right side.

TM71 Wonder Room can be bought at the Battle Tower in Wyndon for 50,000 PokéDollars. Get it from the League Official seller on the right side.

TM72 Magic Room can be bought at the Battle Tower in Wyndon for 50,000 PokéDollars. Get it from the League Official seller on the right side.

TM73 Cross Poison can be found in the Dusty Bowl section of the Wild Area. Cross the water at the northwest corner to reach the land at the other side where TM73 awaits.

TM74 Venoshock can be found in Stow-on-Side. Go to the west side of town to find a ladder leading to the roofs. Follow the path around to reach TM74.

TM75 Low Sweep can be found in the Bridge Field section of the Wild Area. However, it requires the bike upgrade (the float function) that allows you to cross over water. There’s a small patch of land on the east side of the Wild Area surrounded by water. Use the bike to cross the water and obtain TM75.

TM76 Round can be bought in Motostoke at the western Pokémon Center for 10,000 PokéDollars.

TM77 Hex can be found differently depending on the version you’re playing. In Pokemon Sword, it is found in Ballonlea. Head inside the house just before the path to the Stadium and talk to the old woman inside to receive the TM. In Pokemon Shield, it will be obtained after defeating the Stow-on-Side Gym.

TM78 Acrobatics can be found in Ballonlea, but you need to travel to Hammerlocke in order to receive it. Put on the Fire Gym Outfit then buy and wear the Fire Type Tracksuit Jacket, the Fire Type Trackie Bottoms, the Fire Type Sport Rucksack, the Fire Type Sport Cap, and the Fire Type Sport Sunglasses. While wearing this complete on fire outfit, return to Ballonlea and speak to the artist near the far left house (look for the giant green glow-in-the-dark mushrooms). He will reward you with TM78.

TM79 Retaliate can be found in Hulbury. After having the meeting with Rose in the seafood restaurant, Sonia will give you TM79.

TM80 Volt Switch can be earned through the Rotom Rally in the Wild Area. You’ll be awarded TM80 after earning 20,000 points in a single race which can easily be done with a longer race.

TM81 Bulldoze can be found in the Giant’s Seat section of the Wild Area. Go behind the large rock and head directly across from the nearby den to find TM81 tucked near the rock wall in front of a green bush.

TM82 Electroweb can be found in Hulbury. Go to the lighthouse and look in the upper right corner to find TM82 near the fence.

TM83 Razor Shell can be bought at the Battle Tower in Wyndon for 100,000 PokéDollars. Get it from the League Official seller on the right side.

TM84 Tail Slap can be found in the Dappled Grove section of the Wild Area. Go to the southwest corner where you’ll find a den. Nearby is a hollow log and inside is TM84. (It’s right next to Dappled Grove, in the Rolling Fields area.)

TM85 Snarl will be obtained after defeating the Dark Gym in Spikemuth.

TM86 Phantom Force can be found in the Slumbering Weald, once more of it is accessible by progressing through the story. Look for a log bridge on the right side and cross it to find TM86 at the end of the path.

TM87 Draining Kiss will be obtained after defeating the Fairy Gym in Ballonlea.

TM88 Grassy Terrain can be bought in Hammerlocke at the eastern Pokémon Center for 20,000 PokéDollars.

TM89 Misty Terrain can be bought in Hammerlocke at the eastern Pokémon Center for 20,000 PokéDollars.

TM90 Electric Terrain can be bought in Hammerlocke at the eastern Pokémon Center for 20,000 PokéDollars.

TM91 Psychic Terrain can be bought in Hammerlocke at the eastern Pokémon Center for 20,000 PokéDollars.

TM92 Mystical Fire can be bought at the Battle Tower in Wyndon for 100,000 PokéDollars. Get it from the League Official seller on the right side.

TM93 Eerie Impulse can be found outside the entrance to the Battle Tower in Wyndon, you can find it just behind the large blue Battle Tower-logo sign.

TM94 False Swipe can be bought in Motostoke at the western Pokémon Center for 10,000 PokéDollars.

TM95 Air Slash can be found in the Axew’s Eye section of the Wild Area. Head to the island to find TM95 near the trees.

TM96 Smart Strike can be found on Route 9. In the center of Route 9 when there’s an option to go down the right ladder, instead head left and climb the left-side ladder. At the top, you’ll find TM96.

TM97 Brutal Swing can be found in Turffield. Go to the right side of the town then head toward the Stadium. Tucked in the corner between a green Stadium support pillar and a tree is TM97.

TM98 Stomping Tantrum can be found on Route 10. As you’re climbing Route 10’s final hill toward Wyndon, stay to the right. Near the top on the other side is a small area where TM98 is waiting next to a tree.

TM99 Breaking Swipe will be obtained after defeating the Dragon Gym in Hammerlocke.
