How to defeat Charizard in Pokemon Go?

You can best fight Charizard with Rock type moves. We recommend Rampardos’ Smack Down/Rock Slide, Tyranitar’s Smack Down/Stone Edge, and Rhyperior’s Smack Down/Stone Edge (these last two should always be done in combination with Rampardos as starters). The closer those Pokemon’s levels are to level 40, the better.

Tip: The moveset you’ll want to face Charizard with 1 players as, is Fire Spin and Dragon Claw, as it has does the least Damage Per Second to you. Its best battled during Partly Cloudy weather, so it won’t have any weather boosted stats but your Pokemon will.

Note: Be wary of the Fire Spin and Blast Burn move combination, as it has the highest total Damage Per Second. On the bright side, once you take it down and catch it, this combination makes for a great moveset during Player VS Player battles.

How To Beat Charizard: How to solo Charizard is shown in this video guide that details how to beat it.
