Game-Breaking Glitch

A glitch has been discovered that completely crashes the game! This appears to be a holdover from the original game where the glitch also existed. Just remember that Yoshi doesn’t take kindly to being overloaded!

When you jump on Yoshi while picking up a fireflower powerup and holding something as you face the camera, you will freeze the game! So far the only “solution” seems to be to NOT do this… like that’s going to stop you. 😛

Bug Fixes

How To Fix Glitches: Download the latest patch for Super Mario Maker 2, the developer will use patches/updates to try and fix the most common glitches in this Switch-exclusive title.

Here’s the list of changes that will be implemented on Day One.

An update contains changes that are permanently stored on your system and only needs to be downloaded once. You can download the latest update by launching Super Mario Maker 2 while connected to the internet. You will be prompted to install the update automatically if you do not already have the latest version.
