The E3 2019 Microsoft Press Conference broadcast aired today, has revealed brand new information about Microsoft’s Xbox One and PC game lineup. Microsoft’s E3 2019 keynote conference started on June 9th at 1:00PM PDT (Pacific USA) / 4:00PM EDT (Eastern USA) / 9:00PM BST (London) / 6:00AM AEST (Sydney, Australia) and lasted an hour and 35 minutes. What follows is a bulletpoints roundup

Xbox One exclusive reveals this year were: The Xbox: Project Scarlett console was discussed but not revealed yet, set for Holiday 2020! Further reveals were Minecraft Dungeons, Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, Blair Witch video game, George R.R. Martin’s Elden Ring, Bleeding Edge, Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Sage, New Microsoft Flight Simulator and other games listed below.

E3 2019 Microsoft Press Conference Roundup:

  • The Outer Worlds new trailer shown. Being developed by Obsidian, the original Fallout developers. Set for a release date on October 25, 2019.
  • Bleeding Edge reveal trailer shown by the now Microsoft-owned Ninja Theory. FPS mixed with competitive multiplayer exclusively for Xbox One and Windows PC. Alpha test opens up on June 27, 2019.
  • Ori and the Will of the Wisps gameplay trailer shown. Set to adore you with its action-platformer on February 11, 2019.
  • Minecraft Dungeons coming from the Minecraft creators. Gameplay trailer shown. Isometric view. Looks like Diablo meets Minecraft. Spring 2020 4-player local and online co-op!
  • There are now 2 billion gamers worldwide, this number tripled the past 10 years.
  • Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order gameplayer trailer shown.
  • Blair Witch video game reveal trailer shown. It looks like Alan Wake 2! The main character doesn’t know where he is, looks like he landed in another nightmare. At least he found a safe house in the middle of that haunted forest, oh wait, oh no…
  • Cyberpunk 2077 has a new trailer, looks an action-packed thrill-ride. Matrix Trilogy superstar actor Keanu Reeves will be the main character’s teammate!!! Awesome reveal, hot off the hype of John Wick 3. Vast open world with branching stories. He announced the release date is April 16th 2020.
  • Spiritfarer trailer shown. Stella builds out a boat and explores the 2D world and learns to say goodbye to her friends?
  • Battletoads retro sequel announced with gameplay trailer. Rash, Pimple & Zitz are back. 3-player couch co-op. Intense 2.5D beat ’em up action. Epic fighting platforming racing action.
  • The Legend of Wright trailer shown. Pencil-drawn art and animations make it look like a very unique and retro RPG. Coming in 2020.
  • Upcoming Indie games trailer shown. Once again highlights these will all be free if you pay for the Xbox Game Pass subscription that lets you download them all for free.
  • Xbox Game Pass for PC launches in open beta today with over 100 titles coming by August. New titles are Football Manager 2019 and Emperor Rome and the entire Halo: Master Chief Collection, Prey, Ark, Wolfenstein II, Rise of the Tomb Raider, etc.
  • Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription announced for $15 per month. Includes Xbox Live Gold, Xbox Game Pass for Console, and Xbox Game Pass for PC.
  • New Microsoft Flight Simulator announced with gameplay reveal trailer. Powered by Azure (and Microsoft Cloud AI?).
  • Age of Empires: Definitive Edition gameplay trailer shown. 4K graphics, remastered audio. Coming Fall 2019.
  • Wasteland 3 trailer shown. Coming to PC and Xbox One (as well as PS4, Mac & Linux).
  • 7 new game development studios added in recent years. Newly joining Xbox Studios is Double Fine Productions (known for Psychonauts and Broken Age), Tim Schafer jokes he wants to make Halo & Forza or Excel games, but instead shows a Psychonauts 2 trailer. Will it be PC & Xbox One-exclusive?
  • Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Sage world premiere. Includes stories from all 9 movies. Coming 2020.
  • Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot. Previously known as DBZ Project RPG. Promises to be true to the DBZ anime action-RPG. Coming early 2020.
  • 12 Minutes video game reveal trailer shown. It’s an interactive thriller about a man trapped in a time loop much shorter than the day-long Groundhog Day, more violet too as a hitman is coming to kill the main character’s wife and you have to figure out how to stop him.
  • Way to the Woods trailer shown. Shows cute deer with magical antler. Coming in 2020.
  • Gears 5 CGI trailer shown. Slogan is “Bound by Blood”. Coming September 10th, 2019. 3 or 4 days early access if you have Xbox Game Pass Ultimate or buy the Ultimate Edition. Biggest campaign ever. The brand new Escape Mode has you infiltrate the hive to plant a bomb and then… escape the green poison cloud. Aggressive 3-player co-op experience. Pre-order and play the game in the first week to get The Terminator skin in a character pack pre-order bonus from the Terminator: Dark Fate movie.
  • New Xbox Elite wireless controller that gets 40 hours of gameplay per charge. Bluetooth works on box Xbox One and PC.
  • Dying Light 2 trailer shown. Coming Spring 2020.
  • Forza Horizon 4: Lego Speed Champions expansion pack revealed in a surprise world premiere trailer. Coming June 11th, 2019.
  • Gears Pop! trailer shows single-screen action. Pre-register now on iOS and Android.
  • Stage of Decay 2: Heartland expansion pack trailer shown. Features two stories, all new dangers, in the biggest expansion yet. After the presentation there will be a gameplay demonstration on the Twitch.tv/xbox livestream.
  • Phantasy Star Online 2 trailer shows it’s coming West after many years! Sega’s online action combat with cross-play on Xbox One & PC. Features all the content from Japan. Free-to-play! Release Date Spring 2020.
  • Crossfire X coming to Xbox One as a console exclusive (first to console). With Smilegate a PC legend comes to Xbox One in 2020. CGI trailer shows action-packed shooter world.
  • Tales of Arise world premiere trailer shown. Bandai Namco’s JRPG coming West in 2020.
  • Borderlands: The Handsome Collection coming to Xbox Game Pass. It’s also part of this month’s PlayStation Plus free games package. Newly announced Borderlands 2 DLC pack Commander Lillith and The Fight for Sanctuary will set the stage for Borderlands 3.
  • Elden Ring CGI trailer shown. World premiere. Made by Game of Thrones creator George R.R. Martin and the From Software developers.
  • New feature announced, Console Streaming turns your Xbox One into a cloud server to play your game wherever you go.
  • Xbox: Project Scarlett console discussed, it’s the next-gen Xbox 4 console. Focus is on gaming. Includes mobile functionality. Reducing load times is a priority. Then2 & NAVI. 4 times more powerful than the Xbox One X. Up to 120 frames per second gameplay speed. SSD harddrive used as RAM to increase game performance. Connect across devices and platforms. State of the art processor. Cloud supported future, game streaming. Release date in Holiday 2020. Going head-to-head with the PlayStation 5’s Fall 2019 launch!
  • Halo 6: Infinite CGI trailer shown. Next main Halo game will launch alongside the next Xbox console in Holiday 2020. Story looks to be epic again! UNS space vessel drifting along a broken Halo ring finds Master Chief drifting in space and powers up his suit again like in the first Halo. Master Chief exclaims he’s ready to fight back!
  • After the show there will be a Gears 5 world gameplay premiere at the Mixer.com/GearsofWar livestream.

The 34 games shown today will be premiering on Xbox Game Pass for both Xbox One and PC.
