Tips: For one of the staged challenges in Fortnite Battle Royale Season 8 Week 8 you need to “Search the treasure map signpost found in Junk Junction” for stage one, then you need to “Follow the treasure map signpost in Junk Junction” for the second stage.

This guide will show you where to find the Treasure Map Signpost for the first stage and then where to search to find the X on the Treasure Map in order to complete this treasure map challenge.

So, head to Junk Junction and go into the gap between the two north crates. Search the signpost to complete stage 1 of the treasure map challenge.

For stage 2, you need to go to where the X is on the treasure map. The X can be found in the ditches next to Fatal Fields, where the X is located they’ll be a battle star. Pick this up to complete the second stage.

Handy Notes: To actually get the Banner Battlestar to appear though, you first need to complete ten full sets of any of the weekly challenges (weeks 1-10). Once any ten sets of them have been completed, this secret Battle star can be collected and the challenge “Find the Secret Battle star in Loading Screen #10” will appear in the Discovery Challenges.

So after completing all challenges for ten weekly challenge sheets, you’ll unlock a new loading screen showing a Battle Star.

The Secret Banner can be found in Loot Lake on top of a trick on the left.

Reward: Getting the Battle Star will reward you with one full battle pass tier.

Protip: Completing 55 weekly challenges will unlock the secret Discovery skin.
