Intro.

Darkseid has invaded the planet and the Justice League is missing, it’s up to you and your fellow Super-Villains to stop him and ~~save~~ rule the world.

It’s good to be bad… Embark on an all-new DC/LEGO adventure by becoming the best villain the universe has seen. Players will create and play as an all-new super-villain throughout the game, unleashing mischievous antics and wreaking havoc in an action-packed story. Set in an open world experience within the DC universe, the Justice League has disappeared, leaving Earth’s protection to their counterparts, who have proclaimed themselves as the “Justice Syndicate”. It’s up to you and a crazy group of misfits to uncover the intentions of Earth’s new, strange, wannabe superheroes. Joined by renowned DC Super-Villains: The Joker, Harley Quinn, and countless others from the Injustice League, players will set out on an epic adventure.

It’s good to be bad. The Joker, Harley Quinn, Lex Luthor, and others from the Injustice League won’t stand for second-best when it comes to villainy. Embrace your inner super-villain, as you battle opponents, solve puzzles, and overcome obstacles using menacing pranks and tactics experienced best from the unique perspective of the bad guys.
Outrageously funny DC Comics story. The Justice League has disappeared, leaving Earth’s protection to their counterparts from a parallel universe, the “Justice Syndicate”, a new, strange group of wannabe superheroes with unclear intentions. Whether it’s Graffiti Spraying walls in Metropolis or using Fear Toxins to scare characters in Gotham City, super-villains have full reign to use any trick in their arsenal to stop the Justice Syndicate’s evil scheme.

Frequently Asked Questions

Question: How many playable characters are in the game?

Answer: There are over 93 playable characters in the main game. That is, if you’re not counting the over 87 more downloadable content (DLC) characters announced so far, making for a total of over 180 playable characters. You can also save up to 10 custom characters using the game’s character creator.

Question: How to buy characters?

Answer: This can only be done while you’re in Free Play mode (it doesn’t work in Story mode). You can only buy a character that you have already unlocked, by holding the Triangle button on PS4 / holding the Y button on Xbox One / holding the X button on Switch, to bring up the character menu. When you see that character menu, then select the black silhouette of the character you want from the grid and select “Buy” to make it available for you to play with in Free Play mode.

Important Note: Unlocking characters usually involves completing campaign missions, bonus- or side missions, or finding their token card hidden throughout the game levels or overworld map. Question: How to switch characters?

Answer: This can only be done while you’re in Free Play mode (it doesn’t work in Story mode). Hold the Triangle button on PS4 / hold the Y button on Xbox One / hold the X button on Switch to bring up the character menu.

Question: How do I get into Free Play?

After completing a Level in Story mode, you’ll unlock said Level for Free Play. What you need to do to get in Free Play mode is select the Level from the Level select overview and choose Free Play mode, otherwise by default you’ll end up in Story mode.

Question: How do you save the game?

Answer: The game will automatically save your progress once you reach the end of a level. Quicksaving is indicated on-screen by the circular logo in the bottom-right corner. If you want to save the game manually, you have to press the Start button get to the pause menu and from there you can exit the game, at which point the game should ask if you want to save and quit… say “Yes” to save.

Question: Is there a game-breaking glitch I should know about?

Level 1: New Kid On The Block

Welcome to our 100% complete Lego DC Super Villains walkthrough!

100% means that using this walkthrough and our location guides (listed above), you will see how to get all characters and vehicles unlocked, and see where to find all Minikits, Red Bricks, Gold Bricks, etc. You are a Super-Villain after all!

Mercy Graves has enlisted your created character’s help break out Lex Luther, Solomon Grundy, Cheetah, The Joker, Harley Quinn and anyone else we can from Stryker’s Island prison! Of course the Justice League just has to show up and ruin the fun!

True Villain requirement in Level 1 is: 200,000 studs.

The playable characters in Level 1 are:

Level 2: It’s Good To Be Bad

Now we’re getting the story started, villains unite! Get ready for the Nightwing and Batgirl boss battles.

True Villain requirement in Level 2 is: 105,000 studs.

How To Unlock/Buy Characters Tip: You can buy the characters you’ve unlocked — by holding the Y button on Xbox One or Triangle button on PS4 or X button on Switch — to bring up the character grid and selecting them to buy them.

Level 3: S.T.A.R.S. In Your Eyes

Malcolm Merlyn is tasked with leading a team of Captain Cold, Heat Wave, Reverse Flash and Mirror Master to break into STAR Labs, but Beast Boy, Raven and Kid Flash are there to stop them! That is until Johnny Quick and Deathstorm arrive on the scene. Get ready for the Beast Boy and Raven boss battles.

True Villain requirement in Level 3 is: 110,000 studs.

The playable characters in Level 3 are:

The characters unlocked for completing Level 3 are:

Level 4: The Harley And The Ivy

Deadshot, Captain Boomerang, Killer Frost and the Rookie are trying to track down Harley Quinn at Poison Ivy’s lair and Ivy is not too happy about it.

Level 5: Arkham Barely Believe It

Lex Luthor needs The Joker to round up a crew, so he helps Livewire, Reverse Flash and Captain Cold break out of Arkham Asylum, but not before a run in with Hugo Strange.

Level 6: Con-Grodd-Ulations

On the sixth level the story continues… Lex Luthor brings Cheetah, Reverse Flash and Captain Cold to Gorilla City to try and recruit Gorilla Grodd only to find out Solovar has usurped the throne!
