The recently rumored Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is legitimate and will be formally revealed at E3 2018, Ubisoft announced.

Kotaku is reporting that it has heard from three people who have played the game, as well as several more who have heard about it secondhand, that Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is indeed set in Greece and will introduce dialogue options to the series, as well as let players choose between a male or female protagonist (although the builds Kotaku heard about did not feature Bayek or Aya from Assassin’s Creed Origins). Two of those sources told Kotaku that Assassin’s Creed Odyssey will launch during Ubisoft’s 2019 fiscal year, which ends on March 31, 2019.
