Yakuza 6 Stray Cats

The Cat Cafe AKA Nyan Nyan Cafe in Yakuza 6 is located in Kamurocho, when you go to go to Senryo Ave. you’ll find it. The Cat Cafe’s owner has lost all his adopted stray cats and is about to lose his business (a Cat Cafe without cats isn’t good for business after all) but it can be saved if you accept his side quest to find all 19 cats around the map.

Note: These Cat locations can only be found after you’ve played through Chapter 2 when you talked to the owner of the Nyan Nyan Cafe, and after you’ve unlocked the Troublr helping hand app.

Cat Friendship Tip: While you’re at the Cat Cafe, make sure to stock up on cat food (there are 6 different types of cat food). Each cat has its favourite kind of food and you can save a lot of time if you know the right flavor for the right cat, which is why each cat’s favorite food is listed below. – As a general rule, if you can match the cat on the cat food label to the cat you’re feeding (AKA always give them their favorite cat food), it’ll results in the highest possible friendship boost; meaning it’ll only take 2 cans of cat food to befriend it.

Missing Cat Warning: If you get into a fight near a cat they will disappear!! So it’s best to try and scout out where enemies are moving on the map and get to the cat undetected.

Cat Locations Hints: Each of the 19 cats have 3 different spawn locations they can appear in, as a rule of thumb always on ground level. It can take a while until you find a cat in these points, so try to travel around to increase the chance of finding them.

Some cats appeared immediately and others may take 10 to 20 tries. The best advice here is to memorize as many spawn locations as possible, take a taxi to one side of the map and go through all spots you know. If no cat appears, then take the taxi again to the other side of the map.
