Here’s where to find all Contraption Locations (Battle Walker, Ram Shackles and Constrictor) in Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus.

Halfway through the story, you can choose one of the 3 contraptions, the other two can subsequently be found through the world map on Eva’s Hammer.

Once you have one of the three contraptions, you can do a side mission for it and unlock a special ability.

All Contraptions can still be collected after you finish the main story, as you can visit all districts again and pick up collectibles.

• Contraption & Upgrade Location #1: Venus’ Transporthalle District
– BATTLE WALKER Contraption (00:10)
You are able to reach high platforms with these mechanical legs that can be extended. — Double press the jump button to activate the Battle Walkers.
– STAMINA (Contraption Upgrade)
Keep overcharged health until you take damage.

• Contraption & Upgrade Location #2: Manhattan’s Nuclear Bunker District
– CONSTRICTOR HARNESS Contraption (02:54)
You can access narrow spaces while crouched. — When moving in crouch the Constrictor Harness activates automatically when applicable.
– IRON LUNG (Contraption Upgrade)
Increases the duration you’re able to remain constricted.

• Contraption & Upgrade Location #3: New Orleans’ Bienville Street
– RAM SHACKLES Contraption (06:27)
You can smash through doors, walls and boxes. — The Ram Shackles will be active when you are sprinting.
– MECHANIC (Contraption Upgrade)
Regenerating Armor
