The upcoming Wonder Boy: The Dragon’s Trap remake from DotEmu and Lizardcube will feature not only a playable Wonder Boy, but a newly created Wonder Girl as well.

Over at the PlayStation Blog, Lizardcube art director Ben Fiquet has a post discussing his redesigns of the game’s 8-bit graphics for the 21st century.

Wonder Boy: The Dragon’s Trap will launch for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Switch on April 18. A PC version will launch via Steam “a few weeks after.”
