Xbox Game Pass Subscription Service Announced

Microsoft has announced the Xbox Game Pass, a new gaming subscription service coming to Xbox One this spring that gives users unlimited access to over 100 Xbox One and backward compatible Xbox 360 games for $9.99 per month.

The service will feature games from top industry publishers including 2K Games, 505 Games, Bandai Namco, Capcom, Codemasters, Deep Silver, Focus Home Interactive, Sega, SNK, THQ Nordic, Warner Bros. Interactive, Microsoft Studios, and more.

All titles are directly downloaded to your Xbox One, not streamed. And all games in the catalog, including related add-ons, will be available to purchase at an exclusive discount for Xbox Game Pass holders. New games will cycle into the subscription every month, while some will cycle out.

Microsoft will be testing the Xbox Game Pass with select members of the Xbox Insider Program in the Alpha Preview ring starting today with a very limited number of titles.
