Nintendo has announced Mario Sports: Superstars for 3DS. It will launch in North America and Europe in spring 2017, and in Japan in 2017.

The game features five full-fledged sports: 11-on-11 soccer, baseball, tennis, golf, and horse racing. There is a single-player tournament for all five sports, as well as local and online multiplayer modes.
