Minecraft: Story Mode Episode 7 Arrives Next Week

Telltale Games announced today that Minecraft: Story Mode Episode 7: Access Denied will be released on July 26 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PC/Mac, and iOS/Android.

As with the previously released Episode 6, and upcoming Episode 8, Episode 7 requires you to own at least Episode 1 in the series, or the Season Pass disc, to purchase it. Each episode is available individually for $4.99 USD, or you can buy them together for $14.99 USD as part of the Adventure Pass.

Here’s the description for Episode 7, which may contain spoilers:

In Episode 7: ‘Access Denied’, continuing their portal journey in search of home, Jesse and crew land in a world entirely controlled by PAMA – a sinister “thinking machine” determined to command everyone and everything in pursuit of optimal usefulness and efficiency. Forced on the run to avoid capture and assimilation, you’ll need to work with a new ally to defeat the corrupted computer and free the population it has enslaved.

Harper, PAMA’s creator in hiding, is played by Yvette Nicole Brown (Community).

Episode 8 will be out later this summer.
