Uncharted 4 DLC release dates have been announced by the game’s developer Naughty Dog on Sony’s official PlayStation blog. Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End will receive 4 major free updates throughout 2016 up to Spring 2017.
The roadmap graphic below shows Uncharted 4 Multiplayer will be supported for a full year. The developer will release quite a bit of content this year, including new gameplay items, modes and maps.
Lead Game Designer Robert Cogburn confirmed that “The Uncharted 4 post-launch multiplayer DLC will include immediate access to maps and modes for everyone, plus unlockable vanity items, weapons, Mysticals, and more at no additional cost.”

Note: Paid Story DLC is confirmed as well! There’s the $20 / €20 “Triple Pack Expansion” which comes with the single player story pack DLC and 2 multiplayer packs. The only thing is no one knows if the 2 multiplayer packs are completely exclusive to that bundle, or if it’s just early unlocks for launch content like the pre-order bonuses and the first 2 future content packs.
To clarify, when you win a game or complete (daily?) challenges, you get a chest that contains an item at random and it will never be something you already have. So by simply playing the game you will eventually unlock everything. Maps and mode are unlocked the moment they’re released (to prevent fracturing the community).
Additionally: Multiplayer couch co-op splitscreen may be added to Uncharted 4 later on if it’s possible without compromising the framerate. So you can either assume that will never happen or be hopeful it happens, since Robert Cogburn mentioned on Twitch (at 17:50 minutes) they are “not 100% confident we can pull it off, definitely want to do it, actively pursuing it”. I’m only saying the developers have mentioned it because I would be excited to get couch co-op, which I feel the PS4 needs more of to let us play with local friends.
