Finding all 15 Weapon locations (minus the 1 DLC weapon) will help unlock the following Trophy:

Ratchet and Clank PS4 Weapons

There are 13 weapons in total. The most of the weapons are easy to find, with the few exceptions being the best weapons.

Weapon Upgrading Tip: Your weapons level up as you use them, then at level 5 they transform in better versions of themselves, which can be maxed out at level 10. And you can upgrade them once again in the game’s Challenge Mode (essentially New Game Plus).

How To Unlock The RYNO

How To Get The RYNO:
– Step #1: You cannot start the RYNO Holocard quest until after you’ve completed the sewer section on Rilgar.
– Step #2: After that, 2 card packs are rewards for winning the hoverboard gold cup on Rilgar and Kalebo. And a few of them are locked behind doors that you must hack with the Trespasser tool.
– Step #3: Finally, after you’ve found all 9 RYNO Holocards, bring them back to the RYNO dealer in Rilgar to unlock the RYNO for free.

Info: R.Y.N.O. stands for Rip You a New One. It’s the best weapon in the game.

Its 9-missile-barrage weapon is described as: “Originally manufactured by Gadgetron as the ultimate in tactical offensive weaponry, the R.Y.N.O was only available from black market vendors. Featuring high-capacity, rapid-fire, auto-tracking missiles, this weapon was simply deemed too dangerous for civilian use.”

The RYNO turns into the RYNO Xtreme! at level 5, which in turn gets fully upgraded at level 10.

How To Unlock The Bouncer

How To Get The Bouncer: Pre-order Ratchet and Clank (PS4) at participating retailers* to unlock The Bouncer! The Bouncer is exclusively available as a special pre-order bonus weapon courtesy of Megacorp, it will never be made available any other way (not as paid DLC and not as an in-game unlockable).

Once you get the pre-order bonus, you will download and unlock it in the game. The Bouncer will then be available at the first Vendor after the intro portion of the game (at a price of 100 bolts!). After you buy it at that cost, you can use it.

Info: It’s described as follows: “The Bouncer lets you launch a bomb that releases a plethora of tiny homing bombs that bounce towards targets. One of the most beloved weapons in Ratchet & Clank: Going Commando.”

How To Unlock The Other Weapons

How To Get The Rest of the Weapons: The remaining 14 weapons / gadgets automatically unlock due to story progression or can be unlocked by buying them from a Vendor for Bolts. – So smash every crate you come across and kill every enemy in your way to gain lots of Bolts.

Note: Other weapon Holocards are random drops from enemies. You will easily complete all sets in Challenge Mode. Every other enemy drops a card there.
