Firewatch Hidden Areas

This simple glitch allows you to explore the hidden area behind the impassable rockslide.

Next at the Thorofare Basin Lookout, using one of the many glitches to get out of bounds, it’s possible to cross the gap that is supposed to lead to Delilah’s lookout. Instead, you get to an area you’re not meant to explore.

Firewatch Camera Secrets

After you pick up the camera, Delilah suggests you take photos of certain beautiful or important moments. Here’s what you can do with the camera.

• Key moments to photograph include: The cave discovery, at the Observation Station meadow, in Brian’s fort, and in Ned’s hideout.

• The 18 photos you can snap will all be shown during the ending credits.

• After your photos are shown, they are followed by Brian and his dad’s photos on the same film roll.

• Your photos do not seem to affect the game’s ending.

• In the Steam (PC, Mac & Linux versions) your taken photos can actually be printed out! After you complete the game, you’ll be given the option to go to a web store to order physical versions of your photos. This Fotodome service is priced at $15 / €15 / £10 including worldwide shipping. Nifty!

The adorable pet turtle can be found on top of a rock at Five Mile Creek. You can actually find multiple Pet Turtles to keep in your Lookout Tower. See exactly where it is in this Firewatch animal location guide.

Firewatch: Where To Find Raccoons

Take a look at where to find one of the raccoons on your way to Two Forks Lookout, in the Old Cabin (Hawk’s Rest Lookout) atop the hill inside the Old Stove.
