It seems popular developer Platinum Games (of Bayonetta 1, 2 & Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance fame) with publisher Activision have been working on a new game! After releasing cartoon/anime-based titles like The Legend of Korra in 2014 & Transformers: Devastation in 2015, they are back in 2016 with a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhattan game confirmed for release soon on Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS4, PS3 & PC!

This news was leaked through the official Australian Classification Board website before any official announcement. The website indicates the game has already been finished and reviewed back in November 2015; and falls in Australia’s “M” games and films category, meaning it’s “recommended for persons 15 and over” due to “Violence and Online Interactivity”.

After the cat was out of the bag, more leaks started happening. Starting with AGB‘s find of official artwork for the game, indicated the game’s based on the IDW comics! You can see that keyart at the top of this page. Can’t call it the boxart, since it’s likely this TMNT game will be a digital-only release like The Legend of Korra was.

But the leaks didn’t end there. Up next is XA‘s the full Achievements / Trophies list for the game, which confirm Co-op Mode and Online features (for co-op or otherwise).
