  • Just Dance 2016 dances to the #1 spot on the Wii chart.
  • Lego Dimensions Starter Pack is in first spot in the Wii U chart.
  • Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS returns on the 3DS chart.
  • The Sims 4 is at #1 on the PC & Mac charts.
  • Lastly, Steins;Gate is best-ranking on the PS Vita chart.

Sales data collected from Amazon’s US (PSN & XBL), JPN (PC) & UK / DE / FR websites.

Just to let you know, I’ve dropped tracking on the Nintendo DS chart, since it doesn’t have any new games scheduled for 2016. Similarly, only Just Dance’s yearly games still get a Wii release, so I’m only keeping an eye on that chart if it ranks in the overall Top 10 like it does every Christmas / Holiday Season. Beyond that, the NX will supposedly be Nintendo’s new “console/handheld hybrid” platform this year, so both DS and Wii will go into retirement.

As for the PS Vita, I love mine, but beyond some digital titles, there doesn’t seem to be anything of note coming up at retail in 2016. Sony’s completely dropped support for it, so don’t be shocked if I stop listing the Vita’s best-selling title because it never even ranks in the Top 100 anymore (hasn’t for years in the West; rarely even happens in Japan).

What video games are you playing this Christmas week?
