Typoman is an all-new Wii U-exclusive indie game developed by “Brainseed Factory” & publisher “HeadUp Games”. Typoman looks to be a “Braid” or “Limbo“-calibur title; a game that has a silhouette-style, but a very unique hook wherein you use letters & spell words to proceed through a harsh environment, solve puzzles, fight enemies & remove obstacles. It’s perfect for the Wii U GamePad.

Typoman is OUT NOW and will cost you $14 bucks in the U.S. (GBP 9.99, € 13.99).
In Typoman, players are tasked with manipulating the letters in the environment to help them make it through the game’s complex, Limbo-esque environments.
For example, you may see a steel bar platform that looks like it can be rotated. On your side of the land before the jump, are the letters “ILT”. The solution? Find a letter “T”, and bring it to the word “ILT”. Push the “T” into it, to spell “TILT”. Every time you pull the “T” out, then push it back in to form “Tilt”, the steel platform will rotate, tilting it to the point where you can make the leap.
These are the kind of puzzles you will encounter throughout the game, and it looks just as awesome as it sounds!

I can’t wait to play Typoman. The concept is ingenious and, as a Scrabble-lover, it looks like the type of platformer that is right up my alley! You have to use critical thinking combined with vocabulary & good decision making. All positive things!
I love platform games, and I love games that have an amazing aesthetic and visual flair. Typoman is that type of game (pun-not-intended).
Hopefully Wii U owners will pick it up. It’s great to see an Indie Game of such high calibur appear as a Wii U-exclusive!
