How to find missing Blueprints?: In-game the Blueprints will appear simply as a grey suitcase with a white blinking light on top, that houses the blueprint inside (with a yellow folder icon appearing as you get near it), which you can pick up to collect when you stand next to it. It can be confirmed as being Blueprints simply by walking up to it, as the on-screen text will then tell you can press the action button/key to “Obtain Blueprint”.

• 12 of the Blueprints are actual collectibles in the open world. You have to make a lot of progress in the main story to pick all of them up. The earliest you can do this is after story mission 31.
• 6 are rewards for completing the blueprint side ops (you have to pick them up as part of the side ops). To make these side ops show up you must
• 9 come from completing all key dispatch missions in the game. The key dispatch missions require you to send your combat unit on missions via the iDroid. The higher level ones are only available after story mission 31! There are also other key dispatch missions in between that do not reward you with a blueprint (they only unlock emblem parts and such).

Tip: To see how many of the Blueprint collectibles you have found at any time, from the menu open your iDroid and go to “Mother Base” and select “Database”, “Documentation”, and finally “Blueprints”. Each blueprint has its own name, so they are very easy to keep track of. (We’ll list all names in a list below.)
Do note that the game will not pause while you’re browsing the iDroid in-game, so you may want to download the iDroid app on iOS or Android to access it as part of the game’s second-screen experience (and so you can keep playing).

Does the game save each Blueprints you collect?: Yes, the game will automatically save the Blueprints you just collected if you picked up the Blueprint, so you don’t have to play to the end of the mission. After picking up each collectible you can safely quit the mission without losing collectibles progress. – Once collected, these Blueprints cannot be picked up again.

Note: Collecting the Blueprints will also allow you to develop new weapons at Mother Base’s Research & Development platform.
