Guilty Gear Xrd Revelator Announced. Jam Playable, Intro Movie. No Western Date

Guilty Gear Xrd: Revelator will be released on August 25th, 2015 in Japanese arcades. No Western info has been announced for Revelator, which is an updated version of “Sign” that includes Jam Kuradoberi a playable character.

Here is the Jam reveal from the Arc Revolution 2015 stream.

Jam will be voiced by a new actress this time, Rei Matsuzaki.

You can also see the Revelator opening movie, which also features some gameplay footage of developer Arc System Works’ newest fighting game in action.

Check out the Revelator Japanese Arcade Version’s opening movie.

Revelator will also feature a number of balance tweaks for the latest version of Xrd, and includes two additional characters for a total of three.

Besides Jam, fans will also get “Jack-O'” and fan-favorite “Johnny”.

It’s unknown how this latest update will be distributed (in the East, much less the West). It is also not known, but assumed, that Revelator will come out for PS3 & PS4.

Will this mark Guilty Gear‘s return to multiplatform? Hopefully Revelator will come to Xbox One AND PlayStation 4, to give Microsoft fans a piece of the Heaven & Hell that they crave.

But given that Sign was released exclusively on Sony platforms, it should be assumed that Revelator will probably follow up as a Sony-exclusive.

FOR SHAME!

Will Revelator be free for all owners of Xrd -Sign-, or will it be a separate game that everyone has to pay for? Or will it simply be paid DLC? It’s unknown but we’ll find out soon enough.
