As always with cheats involving in-game currency, use at your own discretion. But it sure is fun to know how to make money fast in The Witcher 3 using this step-by-step guide. As you’ll find out in a moment, it’s quite literally and figuratively a money farming spot.

Here’s an easy way to get a lot of money very fast in The Witcher 3. Using this infinite money cheat you’ll be able to get unlimited cash, as explained below…

Money Cheat Location #1: How to get unlimited cash easy? It can be done early on in the game in the town of Midcopse (in the White Orchard area) when you get there for the “Hunting A Witch” Main Quest.

Money Cheat Method #1: How to make essentially unlimited money in The Witcher 3 easily.

• Step 1: When you’re in the town of Midcopse, before you cross the Woesong Bridge out of town, jump over the livestock fence into the grass pasture with the cows.

• Step 2: Kill all the cows in the pasture. You can kill them with one swing from your sword, but using fire magic is usually a lot faster, since cows do tend to run away from imminent death.

• Step 3: After killing all the cows, pick up the cow hide & meat from their corpses. You must then meditate for at least 2 hours at the spot where you killed them. This can be done from the pause menu, by going to the “Meditation” section and setting the clock to over 2 hours ahead from the current in-game time. — Meditating for this long will respawn the cows by the time you’re done meditating, at which point you can kill them again!

• Step 4: After doing this a few times, you can sell the cow hides for quick cash!* (And you get to keep the rest of the cow meat for healings.)

*There’s actually a Merchant to sell the cow hides to right by the road next to the cow pasture you’re standing in. Talk to the merchant and when you’re in the merchant/shopkeeper’s Shop inventory, go to the “Other” tab to find the “Cow Hide”, so you can sell all of yours to the merchant for Crowns coin.

• Step 5: Repeat steps 1 to 4 until you have enough money. Or until you realize you’re creating a massive cow graveyard and it starts to creep you out, haha! 😀

But wait! Today an even better money exploit was discovered…

Money Cheat Location #2: This second location can be accessed a little later in the game, at the Heirarch Center in Novigrad. — If you’re only just starting off in the game, you can get there once you reach Velen by immediately heading north and swimming or taking a boat to the city of Novigrad.

Money Cheat Method #2: Another infinite money trick for The Witcher 3 to get you making the big money in Novigrad.

• Step 1: When you’re in the biggest town in the game called Novigrad, go to the Heirarch Center Square. That is where you’ll find a merchant in front of some fish who will sell you unlimited Shells and Sea Shells for 7 Crowns. After you buy them all off him, exit his shop and then immediately enter it again to see they are back in stock. (If the merchant ever doesn’t have Shells in stock, either Meditate or fast travel to another map and then check again.)

• Step 2: After buying as many Shells as you want, you must then take the Shells to the Armorer in town, who is right next to the merchant! As you can see from looking at the world map. And from the Armorer’s inventory screen choose to “Dismantle” the Shells into Pearls that sell for over a 100 coins. – The Pearls you have at the end of dismantling the Shells will be worth 109 Crowns each! So you can then sell the Pearls for 109 minus 8 buying & dismantling costs is 101 Crowns profit.

• Step 3: You can keep selling Pearls to the Armorer until he runs out of money. Next, you must Meditate for 5 days and the Armorer will have another 1,000 Crowns to pay you with again. So you can sell more Pearls to him over and over at a pace of 1,000 Crowns per 1 minute!

Want to sell Pearls and Black Pearls at a rate of around 2,700 Crowns per minute? 😮
Go to the loan shark shop, which is said to be the best place to sell large stacks of Pearls despite the longer travel time (remember to use fast travel in town). The loan shark is in a building with red carpets on the outside, at the Southern Gate. If you enter his shop after noon he’ll appear.
Tell him to “Show me your wares” and once you’re inside his shopkeeper inventory, go to the “Alchemy and Crafting” tab to sell your Pearls to him at a worth of 1,000 Crowns each time. After he runs out of that money, just exit out to the main chat choice branches and go back into the store to see he’s got another 1,000 Crowns to buy more Pearls from you. And so on and so on.

• Step 4: Repeat steps 1 to 3 until you have all the money you need.
