Final Fantasy Type-0 HD Collector’s Edition Announced

Priced at $100, the Final Fantasy Type-0 HD Collector’s Edition has been announced for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, with a March 2015 release date in America & Europe (17th in NA, 20th in EU). Its contents are listed below.

Final Fantasy Type-0 HD Collector’s Edition

Final Fantasy Type-0 HD is a remake of the original PSP title that was only released in Japan.

Here is what you’ll get with this sweet Final Fantasy Type-0 Collector’s Edition:

* Golden Steelbook Case
Featuring illustrations by world-renowned artist Yoshitaka Amano, this premium case holds both the game and soundtrack CD.

* Final Fantasy Type-0 HD Composer’s Selections Soundtrack
Includes 15 tracks hand-picked by the game’s composer, Takeharu Ishimoto.

* Final Fantasy Type-0 Manga
A complete 200 page manga comic establishing the world and characters of the game.

* Final Fantasy Type-0 80-Page Art Book
Dive into the war-torn land of Orience through its illustrations and art renders.

* Ace’s Cards
Five life-size replicas of the iconic cards held by Class Zero’s Ace.

* Final Fantasy XV Episode Duscae Demo
Every copy of the Collector’s Edition includes a code for the Final Fantasy XV playable demo. Be among the first to play the game with your order of Final Fantasy Type-0 HD.

It’s worth noting that the USA will have a white box, whereas Europe seems to be getting a black box.

Those who pre-order from the SQUARE ENIX STORE will also receive an exclusive sleeve, with a unique artwork layout and deluxe print finish.”

If you pre-order the game from the Square Enix store in the United States, you are entered into a contest to win: a “Final Fantasy Type-0 custom PS4, an art canvas of Ace, a Vermilion Bird lapel pin that retails for $200… and a whole bunch of runner up prizes, too.”

Likewise, if you pre-order the game in Europe from the Square Enix Store, you’ll snag an exclusive sleeve, with a unique artwork layout and deluxe print finish.

I love Collector’s Editions, so this thing is definitely on my radar. I’m happy to see Square Enix going all-out for Final Fantasy Type-0 HD, which looks like a really cool game.
