PlayStation Now Subscription Price & Games List Announced

Sony has announced their PlayStation Now Subscription price & games list. The game streaming service will be available in North America first in two subscription plans: one month for $20, or a three-month package for $45 (lowering the price to $15 per month if you like it). Get instant access to over 100 PS3 games to play as much as you want on your PS4 when the PlayStation Now release date arrives on Tuesday, January 13th, 2015.

Watch the official PlayStation Now Subscription service introduction here:

PlayStation Now will come to other PlayStation Now enabled devices — PS3, PS Vita, Sony & Samsung Smart TV’s — in the future.

No word yet on when PlayStation Now game streaming is coming to other countries, but before Sony bought the then-named Gaikai for US$380 million, the service was able to stream PC games worldwide. So if your country has PlayStation 4 consoles on store shelves, and you have a fast broadband internet connection, then technically speaking the streaming service should be coming to you sometime in 2015.

I imagine Sony will keep adding a dozen titles every month to add a new game to each genre to keep things fresh. — I do hope they will ensure that at the very least in one year from now the Top 50 best rated PS3 games (as seen on Gamerankings.com) will be a part of this subscription games list. And then do the same for their PS1 & PS2 back catalog. Then lower the price in due time to $15 to try for one month and $10 per month for longer subscription plans, and they’ll be golden.

As it stands I think a PlayStation Now 3-month voucher would make a great birthday or Christmas gift to give someone who already sold their PS3 or missed out on PlayStation games prior to buying a PS4.

What do you think is a good PlayStation Now Subscription price for these games?
