1. 88 Fragnum Pistol (Torgue)

Description:
It’ll blow your head clean off.
• Fires multiple projectiles like a shotgun. Increased critical damage.

Fast travel to “Titan Robot Production Plant”. Go to the Vending Machine East of your location. This Vending Machine is the most consistent in producing Legendary Weapons in the “Item of the Day” section. If you didn’t get a Legendary Weapon, pause the game, select save & quit, load your game back up and check the Vending Machine again. In the video you see a very lucky 2 Legendary Weapons in a row! – Your level doesn’t matter, the “Item of the Day” matches your level.

Badaboom Legendary Weapon Location

3. Blowfly Pistol (Dahl)

Description:
These flies!!!
• Fires a six round burst.
• Deals bonus corrosive damage.

How To Unlock: Gets dropped by the Colonel T. Zarpadon boss after defeating him in the “The Eye of Helios” Main Mission near the end of the game. This is the boss you are going to have to farm to obtain this weapon. (For a video guide check “The ZX-1” section below.)

Alternatively, it can be a random drop from the Grinder or the Slot Machine.

Description:

How To Unlock The Cryophobia Legendary Weapon: The Bosun boss drop in “Pity’s Fall”

5. Cryophobia Rocket Launcher (Maliwan)

Description:
No argument here.
• Fires a continuously exploding projectile.

How To Unlock: Gets dropped by The Bosun boss after defeating him in “Pity’s Fall”. Make your way through the main missions until you reach “Intelligences of the Artificial Persuasion” at the end of this mission, you’ll have to fight a boss named “Bosun”. This is the enemy you will have to farm. If he doesn’t drop the legendary rocket launcher, pause the game, select save and quit. When you load backup, kill him again until the legendary weapon drops.

Note: To make things easier be sure to use the jump pads to get through the map quicker.

Alternatively, you may also get it as a random drop from the Slot Machine.

Excalibastard Legendary Weapon Location

Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel How To Get Excalibastard Legendary Laser

How To Unlock The Excalibastard Legendary Weapon: Get a Badass Rank of 2500. Then pull the gun from the stone in “Stanton’s Liver”

6. Excalibastard Laser (Hyperion)

Description:
Thou art most badass.
• Firing increases accuracy.
• Criticals have a 100% chance to freeze.
• Frozen enemies shatter by melee kills from this weapon cause a Cryo elemental nova that freezes other nearby enemies.
• Parts are fixed, including the Hyperion barrel, grip, stock & sight, the blade accessory, and Cryo element.

How To Unlock: First, you’re required to reach a Badass Rank of 2500 or higher. Second, go to the “Stanton’s Liver” area and at the very first big bridge you can cross go left. Next keep hugging the mountain wall on your left and when you encounter the chasm do a double jump to reach the rock in which Excalibastard is stuck. Can only be pulled out of the stone once per character, and it scales to your current level.

Note: Your Badass Rank increases as you complete challenges. Follow your Badass Rank progress on the far right of the menu screen.

Video Guide: Fast travel to Serenity’s Wasteland and farm the Secret Boss ” Iwajira” for the legendary weapon “Thingy” and a purple SMG. This will take you 15 reloads to obtain these weapons. Fast travel to Concordia and duplicate the legendary rocket launcher, then grind 2 legendary rocket launchers and the purple SMG. If the IVF doesn’t grind, press the middle button, then sign out of your profile. Then go back and try it all over again. It will take you 10 reloads until the IVF grinds.

Video Guide: This weapon is dropped by the Final Boss of the game or the boss from the side mission “the best story ever told”. If he doesn’t drop the weapon dashboard the game and kill the boss until he drops it. It can take up to 50 dashboards to get this weapon.

• Rockets fire an an arch and cause a massive explosion complete with nuclear A-bomb mushroom cloud.

How To Unlock: Gets dropped by the Flame Knuckle boss in “Helios Station”. This will be one of the first bosses you can farm to obtain a Legendary Weapon. If he doesn’t drop the weapon, then dashboard the game and kill the boss until he drops it. You should able to obtain this weapon after around 30 dashboards.

Alternatively, you may also get it as a random drop from the Slot Machine.

How To Unlock The Skullmasher Legendary Weapon: Nel dead drop after finding her 2 letters in “Regolith Range”

25. Skullmasher Sniper Rifle (Jakobs)

Description:
A real head turner… turned to mush… ahahaha!
• Fires multiple projectiles like a shotgun.

How To Unlock: Is a dead drop by Nel. You will go to the “Regolith Range” area and make the long climb up the two tallest buildings on the south end of the map. First you must shoot the rock in front of the building to release the air to launch on top of the air duct. Now make your way up the building by jumping on the air ducts on the back of the building. At the top of the building you will find the first letter. To get on to the tallest building in this area you’ll have to use the jump pad to the left of the building. This will launch you on top of a balcony where you’ll find a small building to the right you. Now now jump on to the small building and onto the air duct then leap over to a huge screw on the side of the building. From there jump onto the ramp and make your way up to find the last letter.

Alternatively, you may also get it as a random drop from the Slot Machine.

Also gets dropped by The Invincible Empyrean Sentinel final boss after defeating him in “The Vault of the Sentinel” Main Mission at the very end of the game.

Alternatively, you can also get it as a random drop from the Grinder or Slot Machine.

Fun fact: This weapon is also a reference to the movie “The Fifth Element”!

Thingy Legendary Weapon Location

How To Unlock The Thingy Legendary Weapon: Iwajira boss drop in “Serenity’s Waste”

29. Thingy Rocket Launcher (Scav)

Description:
Somebody ain’t what they appear to be.
• Fires an orb that splits into three homing orbs.

How To Unlock: Gets dropped by the Iwajira boss after defeating him in “Serenity’s Waste”. Fast travel to the Serenity’s Wasteland area. Leave the Janey Spring’s building, there will be a cliff to your right, jump on the cliff and head to the building ahead of you. There will be some more cliffs to the left of the building, jump on the cliffs then jump on to the left side of the building. Follow the building until you see a small cliff right in front of you. Jump to the small cliff then jump over the river of lava on to another small cliff, look to your right and you’ll see a cave. Proceed into the cave until you see a hole in the ground. Jump into the hole when you’re ready to fight the secret boss! It’s recommended to be at level 29 to easily kill Iwajira alone. It can take around 10 fights to obtain this Legendary Weapon, but note that Borderlands games usually have a 1 in 75 chance to drop Legendary’s.

How To Unlock The Torrent Legendary Weapon: Can be obtained from Meg

30. Torrent Submachine Gun (Dahl)

Description:
Spray it to slay it.
• High recoil reduction. Bullets ricochet. Five shot burst with high rate of fire and low delay.

How To Unlock: Can be obtained from Meg. You will have to farm the boss “meg”. To find this boss you will have to complete the side mission “An Urgent Message”. You can pick up the mission “An Urgent Message” from the bounty board in Jack’s office immediately after you complete the main mission “Home Sweet Home”. After completing “An Urgent Message” the professor will give you another mission called “Paint Job” to complete. When you’re finished completing “paint shop” the professor will ask you for one more favor, and that’s to “Kill Meg” . This is the boss we will be farming to get the torrent. If she doesn’t drop the weapon dashboard the game and kill the boss until she drops it. It can take up to 50 dashboards or more to get this weapon.

How To Get Legendary Weapons General Tips:
A) You may get Legendaries as a drop from a a random enemy (on average a 1 in 75 drop chance).
B) As a drop from a pre-defined boss enemy or as an extreme reward (both indicated above, but in the best of cases a 1 in 10 drop chance).
C) And in very rare occasions you may get one from opening the Golden Key Chest in the Concordia central hub.

Note: The Legendary rarity is indicated by an orange color on its inventory background and in the weapon’s color tones as well.
