Alien Isolation Walkthrough

The game is set in 2137, 15 years after the events of Alien and 42 years before the events of Aliens. It focuses on Ellen Ripley’s daughter Amanda who, while investigating her mother’s disappearance, is ordered to go to the space station Sevastopol to recover data that could help locate her mother, unaware that an Alien has already infested the station.

As Amanda, you will navigate through an increasingly volatile world as you find yourself confronted on all sides by a panicked, desperate population and an unpredictable, ruthless Alien. Underpowered and underprepared, you must scavenge resources, improvise solutions, and use your wits, not just to succeed in your mission but simply to stay alive.

DLC Mission 1: Crew Expendable

In the first DLC Mission: Crew Expendable we must find a way to face the Alien.

Players find themselves in an atmosphere of constant dread and mortal danger as an unpredictable, ruthless Xenomorph is stalking and killing deep in the shadows. The original crew are reunited aboard the Nostromo, Brett and Kane are dead; alongside Ash and Lambert, it is now down to you as Dallas, Parker or Ellen Ripley to find a way to isolate the Alien and overcome the terror that confronts them.

DLC Mission 2: Last Survivor

In the second DLC Mission: Last Survivor we must escape the Nostromo.

As Ellen Ripley it is down to you to complete the last mission on board the Nostromo. The rest of the crew are dead. In a desperate bid to survive you must set the ship’s self-destruct and attempt to reach the escape shuttle.

Can Andy and Mike escape alive? Will they require the help of Sgt. Apone from that other Alien movie. You’ll have to watch to discover the terrifying conclusion.

Mission 1: Closing the Book

Welcome to the Alien Isolation walkthrough! How will you survive?

Shack will be your voice-over commentator showing you through the game’s deadly areas to safety.

First, Amanda Ripley must awaken from hypersleep.

Kinect Tips: At the start of the game don’t forget to setup the special Kinect head-tilting and voice-screaming features that add the game’s stealth gameplay and horror ambiance.

– Playing the game with Head Tracking enabled allows the Kinect sensor to track your head movements, apply them to your character when in peek mode. Use it for peeking over objects and around corners. Yes, YOU are controlling Amanda’s head movements in-game!

– Playing the game with Noise Detection allows the Kinect sensor to track the noise level of your room while you play. If you make any loud noises, the enemies might hear you. Let’s hope you don’t scare easy!

Mission 2: Welcome to Sevastopol

Hint: Distractions are a useful way to avoid a dangerous situation. But distractions can sometimes attract a deadlier threat. Use with caution.

Opening Doors Tip: Some doors have been secured with security braces. Use the Maintenance Jack to release the magnetic locks.

Tip: Where is the Ion Torch location in Alien Isolation? It’s in the Seegsons Comms area and will help you access new sections of the game. Keep in mind that will require you do some extra backtracking.
