The hype is real! The Super Smash Bros. series has made its portable debut on the Nintendo 3DS this week in America, Canada, Europe, Australia & the rest of the world. When it debuted in Japan last month, in its first weekend on sale it immediately sold over 1 million copies (1.4 million so far)! 😮

For the title of portable king of 2014, Super Smash Bros. will go head-to-head with the upcoming Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire GBA remakes on 3DS.

I guess you could say The Lord of the Rings books and movies are pretty popular still. The newest Warner Bros. game Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor takes place in the same universe and tells a story that takes place between The Hobbit and The Lord of The Rings.
