Here are some of the first discovered Destiny glitches. Some are convenient tricks and others mishaps you can fix.

Note that these can of course get patched by Bungie at any time. But you might encounter the here-under listed glitches for yourself in the meantime.

Aksor Archon Priest Tactics Glitch Spot

Location: In the “Winters Run” Strike Mission.

Glitch Description: Tactics for beating the difficult Akrsor the Archon Priest boss by using a glitch spot in the corner of the map. Stick to the corner of the cave and keep shooting at Akrsor from behind the boulder and he won’t come at you. Instead he’ll keep standing still on the same spot (as long as you’re the only one attacking him) allowing you to slowly shoot him, take cover to reload, and keep shooting him until he’s dead without worrying about anyone losing their lives. (Have your friends shoot the enemies that occasionally spawn behind you.)

Vanguard Armoury DLC Glitch

If you’re having trouble accessing your Destiny pre-order bonuses like the Ghost Skins and Vanguard Armoury DLC, here’s how to fix it.

Xbox One Fix Instructions:
– From Xbox home, highlight the destiny game and press the start button (or what ever its called now)
– Go to “Manage Game”
– Click over to the right and you will see an 8.8 MB file that you have to download called “Vanguard Armoury”
– Restart Console and run Destiny, and then the Vanguard Quartermaster will have your products.

PS4 Fix Instructions:
– Turn your PlayStation all the way off (not stand-by) and then turn it back on again.
– From your PlayStation main menu, go to Settings, select PSN, and then select Restore Licenses.
– Log into the PlayStation Store and download the expansion pack then download the Vanguard Armoury (if you don’t see it, look in the “Related Items” section).
– Next, start Destiny, and the pre-order bonuses should be available from the Vanguard Quartermaster (or the Postmaster or Special Orders vendor).
