The Sims 4: How To Place Cabinets & Counters

On this page you’ll find out in The Sims 4 how to place Cabinets & Counters in your house. We’re often asked the question “How to make kitchen cabinets shorter or longer?” and such, so here are some tips to help you make Half Cabinets and Round Counters! We wouldn’t want the game to drive you crazy, now would we? 🙂

In this video guide Rob gives you a Tutorial that explains how to make Half Cabinets and Round Counters:

How to make Half Cabinets when adding them: After selecting a Cabinet, in its options (left of the color choices) you can turn OFF the “Automatic Counter”, which will give you many choices of Half Cabinets AND Long Cabinets in varying sizes. Basically, it lets you customize everything yourself.

How to make Round Counters when adding them: After selecting a Counter, in its options (left of the color choices) you can turn ON the “Automatic Counter”, which will give you automatically Rounded Counters in all corners.
– Important: Some Counters also have Rounded Counters available if you turn OFF the “Automatic Counter” and reveal that specific object’s rounded options (if they are available).

Deleting Objects Tip: To help you delete things quickly without using the sledgehammer, hold down the delete button on the keyboard while left clicking? with your mouse on the object you want removed.

I hope these tips helped you get the kitchen of your dreams just the way you want it.
