Find out in The Sims 4 how to do Space Missions & Explore Space. The Astronaut description reads: “Who doesn’t dream of going to space? Become an astronaut and the galaxy will be your playground.” That’s right, your Sims can choose the Astronaut career path, which branches off into Space Ranger and Interstellar Smuggler.

How to go on Space Missions to explore space in The Sims 4?:
• Step 1: Choose the Astronaut career path. During it you’re able to do Space Missions when you branch off to become an Interstellar Smuggler.
• Step 2: Next, in order to Explore Space and do Space Missions you’ll need to buy a spaceship. Go to Build Mode, select “Activities and Skills”, then choose to buy the Steampunk Flyamajig for 5,000 Simoleons and place it in your garden wherever there’s enough room.
• Step 3: Then you’ll still have to build your space rocket by selecting its platform and pressing Build for 1,000 Simoleons.
Tip: The Rocket Science Skill is built using the Rocket Ship. Increasing this skill will increase build speed and unlock new Upgrades on the Rocket Ship until it’s fully upgraded.
• Step 3: Finally, select the Rocket Ship and click on Explore Space. At which point the Space Missions become available to you. They appear as choose-your-own-adventure pop-up text boxes you have to make the correct choices in to progress and complete Space Missions.
