The Sims 4: How To Change To The Sims 3 Camera

Here we will explain for The Sims 4 how to change to The Sims 3 camera. In The Sims 4 you can change camera controls by making one simple adjustment to your game. This will be helpful if you’re having a hard time with the new camera rotation (like everyone else!).

METHOD #1: How to switch to The Sims 3 camera? Change camera view by switching to The Sims 3 camera in the pause menu:
• Step 1: Go to the “Game Options” menu and click on the “Controls & Camera” tab.
• Step 2: Select the box in the “Camera” section that reads “The Sims 3 Camera”.
• Step 3: And finally, look at the bottom-right of the “Game Options” menu and click on the “Apply Changes” button to save the change back to the familiar The Sims 3 camera angle.

Its description reads: “Set the camera to use The Sims 3 settings, such as middle mouse button pitch control.”

METHOD #2: John Berges, the Build/Gameplay Designer on The Sims 4, confirmed that to toggle the camera modes on the fly you can use the following shortcut:
• On PC: Press the CTRL + SHIFT + TAB keyboard buttons at the same time;
• On Mac: Press the CMND + SHIFT + TAB keyboard buttons at the same time.

I hope this helped you out to change the camera angle back to The Sims 3 camera.
