Unconfirmed cheat codes from the original Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee that may work in the Oddworld: New N Tasty remake (please confirm in the comments).

• Level Select — Cheat Code To Unlock: On the game’s Main Menu, on PlayStation hold R1 and press Down, Right, Left, Right, Square, Circle, Square, Triangle, Circle, Square, Right, Left. — And on PC hold the SHIFT key and press Down, Right, Left, Right, Left, Right, Left, Up.

• Movie Gallery (View All Movie Scenes) — Cheat Code To Unlock: On the game’s Main Menu, on PlayStation hold R1 and press Up, Left, Right, square, Circle, Triangle, Square, Right, Left, Up, Right. — And on PC hold the SHIFT key and press Up, Left, Right, Left, Right, Left, Right, Down.
How To Unlock In-Game: Save all 299 Mudokons in the game (was 99 in the original game).

• Green Farts — Cheat Code To Unlock: While playing the game, hold R1 and press Up, Left, Right, Square, Circle, X.

• Unlimited Grenades — How To Unlock In-Game: Kill all 299 Mudokons in the game (was 99 in the original game).

How To Quicksave

QuickSave: This is a new feature in the HD remake. How it works on the PlayStation 4 controller is that you press on the DualShock 4’s Touchpad once for a second to immediately QuickSave!

Then when you die unexpectedly and don’t want to play from all the way back from the previous checkpoint, you can simply hold down the PS4 controller’s Touchpad for 2 seconds until the game reloads your last QuickSave point. Now you can continue quickly from before you made a mistake or died nearby. Handy!

Although there are also options on the Pause menu to do this. Simply tap on the OPTION button to get there. but the touchpad is obviously easier and faster.

Unlockable DLC Extras

Pre-order DLC Bonus: Anyone that pre-orders New ‘n’ Tasty — in the USA, Canada, Europe, Middle East, Africa, Russia, India, Australia & New Zealand — will get Alf’s Escape mission for no extra cost when it’s released as DLC shortly after release. The QuikBuy Scrub Abe costume will be exclusive to pre-orders, and will be available on release day.

Additionally, anyone in the SCEE regions — 109 territories across Europe, the Middle East, Africa & Oceania — with a PlayStation Plus subscription will be able to play Alf’s Escape when it launches shortly after release, for no extra charge, as long as the Alf Escape mission is grabbed within two weeks of its release (between July 23-August 6). – The two items of DLC will be yours to keep once the game is purchased, even if your PlayStation Plus subscription runs out.

• “Alf’s Escape” Extra Mission – Abe ain’t the only one fleeing the farm!

Description: “Witness the humble beginnings of that fez-donning, tea-lovin’ Mudokon first seen in Abe’s Exoddus! Use Abe’s haphazard skills to sneak Alf outta the factory and to freedom! Watch out for that meat grinder!
“Alf’s Escape” is an all-new area of RuptureFarms containing brand new puzzles and fiendish hazards that’ll ensure a fresh challenge for even the most seasoned Oddworld fans, as well as specially recorded dialogue!
It’ll also feature its own PSN leaderboards, alongside all the other levels in the game, so you can compete with everyone else to see who can rescue Alf in record time!”

• “Scrub Abe” Costume – Dress to possess!

Description: “Now you can really go to work on those Sligs! Players that pre-order the game can get Abe kitted out in a traditional factory cleaner’s outfit (complete with striped loincloth and scalp cap) so they can really look the part on that grimy factory floor.”

Note: It’s a Cross Buy game on PlayStation systems – so grabbing the game early on PS4 will also mean you get the bonuses when the PS3 and PS Vita versions release.
