Mario Kart 8 got on the grid worldwide last week! With the previous console Mario Kart game on Wii selling to almost 36 million fans, can the Wii U sequel keep up the pace? Reviewers say yes, lauding the game as the best Mario Kart ever.

Sales-wise, it has sold a staggering 1.2 million copies worldwide in its first weekend. Expect this title to rank high on the top 100 charts for many years to come, as Mario Kart games always keep selling like hotcakes.

Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth debuted this week exclusively on the Nintendo 3DS. Atlus celebrates the series’ 25th anniversary this year. Although not a mainline game in the Persona series (like next year’s Persona 5) this will be an entirely new RPG/dungeon crawler using Etrian Odyssey’s gameplay system.

Good news! The RPG game’s English version was recently confirmed to be coming to America in the last half of 2014!

Watch Dogs is the most pre-ordered new IP in Ubisoft’s history and in the whole gaming industry for this year so far. The previous record set at Ubisoft was the 3.5 million week-one sales of Assassin’s Creed 3 back in 2012, which Watch Dogs beat as it sold 4 million copies!
