What follows is a listing of the Top 10 bestsellers per region, for all systems combined.

North America’s Top 10 Games:

Mario Kart 8 gets on the grid on May 30th worldwide! With the previous console Mario Kart game on Wii selling to almost 36 million fans, can the Wii U sequel keep up the pace? Reviewers say yes, lauding the game as the best Mario Kart ever.

After Mario Kart 8, Yokai Watch once again ranks high. Reaching its 1 million sold milestone on 3DS last month, the manga / game / anime franchise Yokai Watch was created by game developer Level-5 to great success! The Nintendo 3DS game is still popular in Japan 10 months after release thanks to the new anime airing in 2014.

Good news! The RPG game’s English version was recently confirmed to be coming to America in 2014!

Watch Dogs is the most pre-ordered new IP in Ubisoft’s history and in the whole gaming industry for this year so far. The previous record set at Ubisoft was the 3.5 million week-one sales of Assassin’s Creed 3 back in 2012.
